10 year anniversary remodel

10th year anniversary remodel from an very worn out antique ring is simply gorgeous and very unique. Sarah has a wonderful style and was wanting something different but sparkly using all her diamonds and adding a new one. This meant sourcing a old mine cut diamond which did take a some doing but we got there.

6 of the 8 original tiny diamonds from mount were flush set into the shoulders with the other 2 being too damaged to use. The original diamond had a large area on the pavillion that was badly damaged (see below) but I was able to safely set it into the ring thank goodness - always a little nervy thing to try to do. This style ring with an opening is to be worn with caution as it could get snagged and pulled open popping out diamonds so the platinum had to be thick and work hardened to provide enough strength for everyday wear.
