Jon Burgerman inspired tools
Lockdown meant I really couldn’t be in my studio during school hours as both my children needed plenty of guidance and help to do schoolwork. This meant I was forced to work in the evenings and on weekends to make up time which as very difficult as my energy levels are best in the morning. Needless to say my work was put on the back burner a lot.
One of my kiddos had to study the work of NYC artist Jon Burgerman so we sat down and started to draw and this came out. For me, it is an image that shows a longing to be able to connect like so many of us have felt during this weird time. I was obviously missing my tools and my students!
